Welcome to the Franzenshöhe



The Franzenshöhe Berghotel lies in the heart of the Stilfserjoch National Park; the building has a long and varied history that is intimately bound up with the history of the Stilfserjochstrasse.

At 2188m, the mountain hotel's high-altitude Alpine location is ideal for allergy sufferers, and is well-suited for a great variety of activities, such as high-altitude training, for example.

Today, the hotel is run by Karin Wallnöfer, the fourth generation in her family, who manages to conjure up an inviting atmosphere balanced between tradition and innovation. Lovingly restored - new additions include brightly lit rooms for seminars and conferences - the building is ideally appointed to serve its guests. A paradise, and not only for marmots.

Ich war dort vom 15. August bis 18. August den Platz, den ich sehr mochte .... und auch der Service war groß ..... durch die Art und Weise einen kleinen Anspruch ... Justine ist sehr schön ... The opening of the Berghotel Franzenshöhe for the summer season 2010 depends on the opening of the Stilfserjochstrasse. The road to the Passo Stelvio from Trafoi will be open on the 10th of June 2010 and the Berghotel Franzenshöhe will be open on the same day.
